Magnetic flux test

Recently, Amazon's US site announced a new policy announcement for magnet products (excluding toy products).

 According to the announcement, starting from March 23, 2023, Amazon's US site will implement a new seller 

policy for magnet products, which requires compliance with Magnet regulations.

Applicable product range

Magnets used in non-toy products, including loose or detachable magnet products.

Non-toy magnet products: consumer products designed, marketed or intended to be used as entertainment 

products, jewelry (including children's jewelry), mental stimulation or stress relief.

For example: refrigerator magnets, magnetic jewelry, magnetic stands, magnetic stationery

Exempt products:

1. Toys need to comply with 16 CFR 1250 (ASTM F963 4.38 magnet requirements)

2. Products sold and/or distributed solely to school educators, researchers, professionals and/or commercial 

or industrial users for educational, research, professional, commercial and/or industrial purposes only.
