Color shading judgment: batch consistency compared against confirmed samples. Industry-standard grey scale rating (GB/T 250), typically Grade 4 or above for standard orders.

Small parts & sharp edges: detection of detachable small components (preventing choking hazards for children under 3), sharp edges, points, and burrs.

2. Function & Safety Inspection

Function testing: electric toy switches, lights, sound, and movement functions; plush toy filling uniformity and seam strength; building block fit tightness; projectile toy launch distance and kinetic energy.

Mechanical & physical safety: per GB 6675.2-2025, checking for small parts, sharp points, sharp edges, and dangerous protrusions. The new national standard significantly raises mechanical and physical safety thresholds, improving technical requirements for small parts, cords, and remote-controlled flying toys.

Flammability: burning rate and afterflame time for plush toys, costumes, and textile components.

Electrical safety: for electric toys—battery compartment structure, temperature rise, insulation, and charging port safety.

3. Packaging & Labeling Inspection

Label verification: age warning labels, CE/CCC marks, manufacturer information, applicable age range, and safety warnings. Missing labels are a high-frequency customs inspection failure item.
