Methods & Procedures for On‑site Inspection of Beauty Devices at Factory by Third‑Party Inspection Agency
Pre‑inspection PreparationThe third‑party inspection agency confirms inspection requirements with the client, including product specifications, cosmetic device functions, appearance standards, quantity for inspection, acceptance criteria, and relevant regulatory requirements. The agency schedules the on‑site inspection and notifies the manufacturer to prepare finished goods, test tools and product technical documents.
On‑site Arrival & Document VerificationInspectors arrive at the manufacturer’s facility. They verify production documents, batch records, component incoming inspection reports, and compliance documents for beauty devices to confirm consistency between actual production and client requirements.
Random SamplingFinished beauty devices are randomly sampled in accordance with international inspection standards (e.g. AQL). Samples are drawn from packed finished‑goods lots to ensure sample representativeness.
Visual & Appearance InspectionInspectors check product appearance including casing surface, scratches, dents, color difference, printing and labeling. Packaging inspection is also performed, covering outer cartons, gift boxes, user manuals, warning labels and accessory completeness.
Functional Performance TestingOn‑site function verification is carried out for sampled beauty devices: power‑on test, mode switching, intensity adjustment, working noise, heating performance, vibration function, charging and battery status, and other core functions. Any malfunction, abnormal noise or failure to meet performance standards shall be recorded.
Safety CheckKey safety items are inspected, including power adapter safety, insulation condition, overheating risk, and sharp edges. For beauty devices with special regulatory requirements, relevant safety indicators are checked against agreed standards.
Dimension & Accessory CheckVerify product dimensions, weight, and the completeness of all accessories such as charging cables, adaptors, storage bags and replacement heads against the BOM and specification sheet.
Packing & Carton Drop Observation (If Required)Where requested by the customer, carton drop test simulation and packing assessment will be conducted to evaluate protection performance for transit.
Defect Recording & On‑site CommunicationAll non‑conformities are photographed and documented. Inspectors communicate findings with the factory on site, clarifying defect levels (critical, major, minor).
Inspection Conclusion & Report IssuanceBased on sampling results and acceptance rules, an overall inspection conclusion (Pass / Fail / Hold) is reached. A formal third‑party inspection report with photos, test data and defect descriptions will be delivered to the client within agreed time after on‑site inspection.
